Did you know I was once a tree? – Creative Art Tu Bishvat Workshop

Get ready to unleash your creativity in this unique workshop celebrating Tu Bishvat, the Jewish New Year of the trees. Discover the history and meaning of Tu B’Shevat, and engage in a fun and expressive adventure using various natural materials and familiar craft supplies. Discover the natural artist within you as we explore the fascinating connection between nature and art while creating our own original 3D art piece from natural materials.

Absolutely no art experience is necessary for you to design a unique collage or sculpture inspired by trees in our world.

We will be lead by an incredible Bay Area Jewish artist, Amy Kassiola.

Amy Kassiola is a Jewish educator with extensive teaching experience in Jewish Community Centers and synagogues. She is a Family Education consultantand has facilitated many Bay Area workshops on Jewish cultural traditions. In addition, Amy is a professional artist and instructor whose work on Judaic themes has been exhibited in the Bay area and on the east coast.
