Fitness and Health Philosophy
My approach to health and fitness is based on self-care and preventative actions. Being inactive will lead to illness and poor health. Integrating nutrition, fitness, stress management, and good medical care will take your body a very long way. I am available for one-on-one nutrition counseling appointments. I take into account the unique needs, lifestyle and food preferences of each person to support them in setting personal nutrition goals.

Personal Notables
I became serious about health and fitness after a bad skiing accident, that accident changed my life and my career path, as I was qualifying for Q-school to become a professional golfer. Rehabbing my body, mind, and spirit became my new job. I then decided to make it my career. I love meeting clients where they are and learning about their health goals, and how I can support them on their journey to health and wellness.

Fitness and Health Philosophy
I have more than 25 years of experience in working with clients with various injuries due to accidents, overuse, surgery, auto-immune diseases, and/or just the aging process. In the past five years, I have been interested in neuroscience and the way in which our brains have the unique ability to heal our bodies. By integrating various visual, inner ear, and proprioceptive exercises I have been able to help my clients improve and then maintain normal body movement, coordination, function, and balance as they age.

Personal Notables
I train both in the water and on land. Water is a wonderful medium especially for those dealing with excess body weight, pregnancy, and injuries. I also teach hydrotherapy and aquatic fitness classes. I was a competitive swimmer in college, have studied dance, martial arts, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, and Pilates. I am an avid cyclist and backpacker as well. I look forward to working with you in obtaining your personal fitness and health goals!

Fitness and Health Philosophy
I believe that not all bodies are alike. There is no proper mold. Everyone is unique in their abilities and I like to get my clients to do something they’ve never done before: to love their body at whatever level of fitness and wellness they’re at. Many of us are taught at a young age that if we hate ourselves, starve ourselves, fit into that outfit, we are somehow worthy of love. I think everyone is worthy of love TODAY. No matter what age you are, it is NEVER too late to start building muscle, working on balance, coordination, and building stamina. Our bodies want to move! Let me help you!

Personal Notables
As a California native, my weight loss journey began five years ago when I weighed 250 pounds after having my first daughter. Through unwavering dedication and hard work, I was able to shed those extra pounds. This transformation has been incredibly rewarding, both physically and mentally. I'm proud of the progress I've made and the healthy habits I've cultivated. My journey serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and a reminder that with the right mindset, anything is possible.

Nowadays, when I'm not at work, you can often find me exploring the beautiful hiking trails of Marin County, chasing after my energetic kids.
