New Moon, New Mountain: Monthly Community Hiking Group

Postponed to Sunday August 27th!

Come hike with your fellow JCC community this summer! In this monthly program we will spend the morning exploring a moderately easy local trail and getting to know our fellow hikers on the journey. With each changing moon cycle, Rosh Chodesh, there is natural wisdom to be gained through spending time in nature. We will be meeting on the Sunday closest to the new moon through the summer.

Give yourself the chance to get out in nature, slow down, and connect.

Location:

Lake Lagunitas hiking trail in Fairfax

We will meet in the parking lot by the start of the trail towards the picnic tables.

Once you enter the park, get yourself a parking pass and continue to drive down the path until you get to the start of the Lake Lagunitas trail. There is a large circular lot we will meet at the far end of. The google map directions are quite accurate, so follow them all the way down.

FAQ:

-Please bring water, snack, and appropriate shoes .

-There is a fee to park at the trail.

-There is shade and sun on the trail, so dress appropriately.
