Bay Area Excursion: Mexican Lunch & Kinky Boots
Sunday, June 23
9:45am-5:45pm
( See “Expected Excursion Timing” below)
B oard our private coach to head to the heart of downtown Santa Rosa and a sumptuous lunch at La Rosa Tequileria & Grille, which is known for its contemporary Latin flavors along with all the traditional classics expected from a great Mexican restaurant.
Next, take the coach to the charming 6th Street Playhouse for a delightful musical inspired by true events. Kinky Boots is a huge-hearted musical hit of two unlikely business partners!
A young businessman is desperately trying to save the near-bankrupt gentlemen’s shoe factory he suddenly, reluctantly, inherited. A chance encounter with a drag diva in need of a boot repair unites the two in a business venture that takes them from a fading industrial town in England to the glamorous catwalks of Milan.
With music & lyrics by Cindy Lauper and book by Harvey Fierstein, this fantastic and fabulous show won six Tony Awards, including “Best Musical” after it premiered on Broadway in 2013!
S pace is strictly limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
