A representative from the Jewish Film Institute will show highlights from this year’s San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. Get a “behind the scenes” look at some of the films, learn how they were selected, and get excited for Season 37 of what has become the oldest and largest Jewish film festival in the world.

ABOUT THE SFJFF

The 37th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival returns July 20 – August 6, 2017 in San Francisco, the East Bay, Palo Alto and San Rafael. Early Bird Passes and select programs will go on sale beginning May 18, with the full program announcement on June 20. More information is available at www.jfi.org/sfjff37 or sfjff.org.

In Marin, SFJFF will return to the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, August 4 – 6. Marin Passes ($100 JFI members / $120 general public) will be available for purchase beginning June 20. Become a member at www.jfi.org/membership


The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (SFJFF), presented by the Jewish Film Institute, is the largest and longest-running festival of its kind and a leader in the curation and presentation of new film and media exploring the complexities of Jewish life around the world. SFJFF attracts more than 40,000 filmgoers and industry professionals to its annual three weeks of inspiring films, events, panels and parties. Screenings take place at the historic Castro theatre in San Francisco and venues throughout the Bay Area during July and August.
