Learning Unlimited: Entomology

Tue, November 14, 2017 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Entomology

Humans often do battle with strange invaders of our living spaces. At this wonderfully creepy-crawly event, join UC Berkeley entomologist Dr. Vernard Lewis to learn about the latest research on the biology and control of three particularly villainous house guests: ants, termites, and bedbugs.

A Cooperative Extension Specialist in the Department of Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management at UC Berkeley. Dr. Vernard Lewis holds a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Entomology. He joined the Berkeley faculty in 1991 and specialized in Urban Entomology.
