Dear Friends,
This past year marked the 75th anniversary of our JCC’s founding. We have grown from a small outpost in 1948 to the cultural heart of Marin Jewish life. As we mark the end of an extremely daunting year for Jews worldwide, never has our critical role been more evident.
People of all backgrounds and faiths come to our JCC to create connections that weave us together and form our communal fabric. Over 2,000 visitors come through our physical and virtual doors each day for a breadth of innovative programs and learning opportunities, to create friendships, and to live a healthy and meaningful life.
We are keenly focused on expanding and evolving to fulfill our mission of sustaining Jewish culture, enriching lives, and building an inclusive and welcoming center. Having a strong and proud Jewish community that will endure for generations is at the heart of our JCC. Over the last twelve months, with the devastating events in Israel, Gaza and the Middle East, and the rise of antisemitism locally and across the globe, our JCC has demonstrated that we are a place where Jews and our neighbors gather to express solidarity and find support and comfort in being together.
We are amazed and humbled by our JCC’s growth over the past 75 years. And we are excited to start the good, hard work to help it flourish over the next 75 years.
Thank you for your continued support.
