Saturday, September 19 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Cleanse your mind and soul for the Jewish New Year with a unique restorative yoga, sound bath, and water ritual experience. During this time of reflection and change, we will be led in a restorative yoga and sound bath journey to open our minds and bodies for the new Jewish year. We will share this experience as a way to balance our nervous system and bring us back to ourselves or a higher power.
Water is a symbol of transition and renewal in the Jewish tradition. While we’re in the water, we will consider what we hope to leave behind from the past year and what we hope to bring into the new year.**
We will start on land with a more traditional yoga practice and sound bath experience infused with preparations for the New Year. Then, move into the water for a brief mikveh ritual experience as we set our intentions and cleanse ourselves for a fruitful year ahead.
* *Please come in your bathing suit with comfortable clothes on top, and bring with you a towel, water bottle, journal/pen and change of clothes for after the event.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds, for cost-free registration, please email adavidi@marinjcc.org.
