Our short-week focuses on several aspects of opera – the performance, the preparation, and the personal. Experience some of opera’s most dramatic, passionate and romantic masterpieces, each filled with gorgeous melodies from start to finish. Three masterpieces await at The Metropolitan Opera!
Begin with a story of love, jealousy and revenge – Verdi’s tragic Otello! Next, Puccini’s heart-stopping Tosca fills the stage with breathless excitement and nonstop drama. Finally, Puccini’s heartbreaking La Bohème – in one of The Met’s grandest productions – brings this beloved, perennial tearjerker filled with soaring voices to life!
