The first hour is tailored to beginners and includes learning and dancing easy-to-follow dances. The second hour moves into intermediate-level dancing and includes popular old and new dances. The class is a great way to get started\, return to\, or just keep on dancing in a friendly and supportive environment. Come for one hour or both. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Shavuot with modern takes on old traditions – dairy and papercutting! \n\n\n\nCelebrate Shavuot with modern takes on old traditions – dairy and papercutting! Shavuot celebrates the giving of the Torah to the Jewish people and is also regarded as the feast of harvest. Eating dairy on Shavuot is a longstanding tradition and has a couple possible explanations. We will be honoring that tradition with cheese tasting. The folk art of papercutting was used to decorate synagogues and homes. Instead of papercutting\, we will be creating paper art by quilling (coiling paper). Paper quilling has been around for centuries and is still a popular art form. \n\n\n\nLearn this fun craft while eating cheese\, creating your own Shavuot tradition!
