Give your regards to Broadway with a musical journey to the “city that never sleeps”
Head to Manhattan when the museums are in full swing and Broadway is bustling with the excitement of countless shows. Join in this trip to see seven of Broadway’s hottest shows – Mostly Musicals!
Check into the InterContinental Times Square – a lovely hotel conveniently located in the Theater District – and get ready to enjoy Exclusive Behind-the-Curtain Discussions with Broadway professionals, which provide a fascinating look into life behind the curtain whether with a Broadway actor, singer, director, general manager, or other professional.
Plus – New for 2021! – Journey back to 1903 for a rare, private, behind-the-scenes visit of Broadway’s oldest theater: The Hudson. This interior tour offers an exclusive view of the nooks and crannies of this historic building that was restored in 2017 to its original glory after decades of narrowly avoiding demolition. For over 100 years the theater's walls have witnessed tragedy, gangsters, and legends of pop culture, music, and Broadway who created iconic moments amid the glow of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s original lighting. Bask in the stories told in the theatrical silence of an empty Broadway theater – a rare, one-of-a-kind experience to peek behind the curtain on Broadway! Utilizing iPads chock full of rarely seen photographs and videos from our intense research, see the Hudson's past and present merge before your eyes like never before.
Trip guests with superstar soprano Renee Fleming immediately following seeing her in a performance of Carousel.
Trip guests with Caitlin Kinnunen, Tony-nominated star of The Prom, after an exclusive behind-the-scenes meeting/performance.
Keep your fingers crossed that we will have the optional opportunity to attend a special celebration of the most festive night in the Broadway theater community – a Tony Awards-Viewing Party & Dinner! Alas, the date has not yet been confirmed, but is expected to be Sun, Jun 6, 2021....so attending the party/dinner could actually work out. If not, another optional evening activity will be offered.
