Songs Of Change with Just Us

Tue, May 2, 1020 7:30 pm

Sing along to classic songs of change.

Bring family & friends to an all new, fun “Pub J” sing along night, with Amy Friedricks new band JUST US.  Come belt out those songs created and historically used to raise consciousness, hope, and inspire through voices raised together.

Four seasoned musicians have joined together to create an evening of community singing featuring songs of change and hope. Protest songs, spirituals, and anthems have lifted voices, built strength and inspiration.

Join us and sing classics made famous by Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul & Mary, Crosby Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, and many others.

Once again the lyrics will be projected on the walls, sofas and cabaret tables will offer a cozy, comfortable setting and beer, wines, coffee, teas and snacks offered for sale within the theater.

A great evening to come together with friends, family and community.

“Folk songs express the dream, and prayers and hopes of the working people.”  Hank Williams

"Singing is a way of escaping. It's another world. I'm no longer on earth." Edith Piaf

"Blues are the songs of despair, but gospel songs are the songs of hope.” Mahalia Jackson
