The winter season invites us to turn inward and rest; to be gentle on our minds and bodies. This is the season of descent – where we root down, rest and cultivate our deepest connections inward to ourselves and to the earth so that we can rise up when the spring comes.
Step into this season of rooting and connecting to the earth with gently guided movement, restorative resting postures, drawing and writing, as we gather in community to embody the essence of rest.
In this yearlong series, we will be gathering at the start of each season to tap into the wisdom of nature and Judaism to hold us in time and ground ourselves for the season.
Join for one or join us all year, as we move through the seasons.
Bring a journal and pen. Wear comfortable loose clothing in which you can easily move. All are welcome!
No one will be turned away for a lack of funds, please email Aliza at ADavidi@marinjcc.org for cost free registration.
