California Salsa Swing Band-A Tribute Night to the Music of Tito Puente

This Tito Puente Tribute Band gets everyone dancing with their explosive salsa dura rhythms. Master timbalero, Wally, leads a world class 9-piece salsa swing band comprised of only the finest musicians in the Bay Area who have performed with artists like Tito Puente Jr., Celia Cruz, Gabino Pampini, Josimar y su yambu, Frankie Vázquez, Rey de La Paz and Rey Sepúlveda; and hail from the US, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru. Together, they create powerful Latin big-band music that will move you like no other.

The night will kick off with Salsa Marin Dance Academy providing free salsa lessons and empanada and taco food pop-ups and bar will round out this sure-to-be unforgettable night.

Seating/Pricing/Age Restrictions:

Tickets are $30. General Admission is mostly Standing (Dancing) Room-there will be chairs on the periphery of the theater as well as in our lounge area. There are limited VIP packages ($200 for a table for 4 guests), to the sides of the stage, that we expect to sell out. There will be preferred seating for any handicapped guests.

This show is 18+.

Doors open: 5:00pm (Come early and grab some dinner in our pre-show lounge)

Salsa lessons: 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm

Show starts: 7:30pm

Food/Drink: Pop up food vendors will offer artisanal Argentinian empanadas and mouth-watering Mexican tacos. Concessions, beer, wine, canned cocktails and soft drinks will also be available for purchase. No outside food or beverage is permitted.
