Senior Excursion

Folktales in Art –  at SF Contemporary Jewish Museum

Board our private coach to head to San Francisco’s Contemporary Jewish Museum for a private guided docent tour of the special exhibit Jewish Folktales Retold. This exhibition presents newly commissioned works by sixteen contemporary artists in response to a selection of tales from Jewish folklore. Acting as modern storytellers, transmitters of knowledge, secrets revealers – the artists explore the many facets of these stories’ characters, themes, and metaphors.  After the tour, enjoy free time to browse the Museum’s wonderful gift shop and for lunch on your own.

$20 - Includes museum admission, private guided docent tour, transportation, tolls, parking.
