Learning Unlimited: Fine Lecture - Monet, the Early Years
Tue, February 28, 2017 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Join fine Arts Museums of SF docent Rita Dunlay for insights into Monet the Early Years.-the first major US exhibition devoted to the initial phase of Claude Monet’s career, which demonstrates the radical invention that marked the artist’s early development.
Share in a slide presentation on this exhibit of approximately sixty paintings dating from 1858 1872, before the establishment of Impressionism. The works represent a broad subject matter and are an intimate look at the artist’s technique and his interest in painting texture and light.
