An Evening in Thailand
Basil Canteen and
Golden Gate Theatre, San Francisco
Be transported by our private coach with others who will be “getting to know you” to spend an evening in Thailand. Start at Basil Canteen with a multi-course Thai dinner featuring an array of dishes and flavors and selected wine.
At the end of dinner, gain insights into the evening’s show with a private lecture by James Sokol.
Next head to 1860’s Bangkok to follow the musical story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam (now called “Thailand”) and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.
Lincoln Center Theater’s critically acclaimed production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s beloved The King & I won four 2015 Tony Awards® including Best Revival of a Musical. This evening is sure to be “something wonderful” and will sell-out quickly! Call ASAP to reserve your seat(s)! Please note: Theater seats are in the front mezzanine, which require a flight of stairs.
So delighted on the return home, you may just “whistle a happy tune!”
$160 – Includes dinner, wine, show ticket, transportation, tolls, parking, tax & gratuities.
