Let our private coach whisk you away for a delicious, interesting and musical evening! Begin with a Three-Course Dinner w/Wine in the Private Room at Absinthe Restaurant. Gain insights into the evening’s performance with Exploring Opera: Puccini’s Delicate Geisha – a lecture with audio clips presented by James Sokol. Next head to San Francisco Opera where cultures clash when a trusting young geisha marries an American naval officer stationed in Nagasaki. Puccini’s Madama Butterfly has soaring music that takes us on an emotionally charged journey through a timeless tale of innocence, betrayal and sacrifice towards one of the most moving finales in opera!
