Our land-based therapeutic classes, also designed to enhance participants' self-reliance and quality of life and facilitate injury rehabilitation.

Land-Based

Meditative Stretch

Mondays & Wednesdays: 12:15-1:15 p.m.
Slow, deep stretching exercises elongate and relax muscles. This class will enable you to increase your range of motion, improve your posture and decrease stress using visualization techniques, yoga and Pilates.
Instructor: Dawn
Location: Mind Body Studio, 2nd floor

Senior Strength

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 10:05-11:00 a.m.
Join us for an hour of strength, balance, flexibility and endurance training. Exercises may be done while seated in chairs but be prepared to enjoy working hard!
Instructor: Dawn
New Location: Hoytt Theatre, 1st floor

Aquatic Therapeutic Programs

Set in our fully accessible, 88-degree indoor pool, aquatic therapy is appropriate for any phase of rehabilitation. Warm water enhances muscular relaxation, which increases circulation, reducesswelling and promotes healing.

When immersed to shoulder level, 80% of the body's effective gravity dissipates due to water's buoyancy, reducing compressive forces on the joints. This allows those with chronic pain to move with increased range of motion, and eventually progress from partial to full weight-bearing activity.

Physical Therapy

Aquatic therapy Associates provides high quality, one-on-one licensed physical therapy to treat a wide range of needs in our warm 88° indoor pool. ATA is now available for expanded land-based physical therapy services on-site in our new rejuvenation Zone. Children and adults are welcome. Call for fees and possible insurance coverage.

Caryl Sircus, MS, PT, Founder & Executive Director of Aquatic Therapy Associates, has incorporated her love of water into a unique physical therapy practice. She and her staff have extensive specialized training in aquatic physical therapy, as well as land-based physical therapy.

“We provide aquatic therapy because we love it, we believe in it and our patients see positive results from it.” —Caryl Sircus
