Hot Buttered Rum

Returns to the Summer Nights Festival bringing their onstage chemistry that fuels the lovefest that is a live HBR show.  Delivering three-part harmonies with a five-piece newgrass jam band, they spin tales about the good times, the bad times and the roads in between.

Whenever these five guys step out of their Bay Area homes onto a stage, their aim is to weave together the traditions of folk and bluegrass with the modern influences of rock, reggae and acoustic singer/songwriters.  Call it bluegrass fusion, newgrass or a post modern string band, Hot Buttered Rum is one of the hardest-working and fastest-rising stars in the music world.

What was once a dream envisioned up on mountaintops and around campfires by five high school and college buddies has found its way into the hearts, minds and bodies of thousands.

Aaron Redner, fiddle, acoustic and electric mandolins & vocals.

Bryan Horne, double bass & vocals.

Erik Yates, banjos, guitars, woodwinds & vocals.

Lucas Carlton, drums & percussion.

Nat Keefe, guitar & vocals.
