The last few years have been a very challenging time for the world, the JCC and for those who need us most. For nearly 60 years we have strived to "turn no one away because of the inability to pay" for programs and sevices. And yet it has become increasingly difficult in the recent past to: The Osher Marin JCC Mission Statement Five Centers in OneEarly Childhood Center- Providing a safe, nurturing environment for children- Offering scholarships to families with limited means (15-20% receive some financial assistance) - Participating in Ethical Start, teaching Jewish values at a young age, and keeping them alive for parents - Supporting professional development for teachers - Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children Center for Youth & Family- Creating programs to support families with school-age kids- Maintaining a high standard of excellence for summer camp--serving children from toddler-age to teens - Providing camp scholarships for low income families - Offering a wide range of activities for teens Fitness & Aquatics Center- Promoting a fitness environment that is comfortable for all ages and abilities- Providing healing rehabilitation programs for those with special needs - Offering scholarships to fixed-income seniors or families with special circumstances - Supporting professional development of staff Center for the Arts- Bringing world-class performing and literary artists to our community- Providing outreach to bring art and artists to those in need - Helping other non-profits in our community raise much needed funds Center for Lifelong Learning- Offering weekly Shabbat lunches with dynamic guest speakers and performers- Presenting world-renowned Jewish cultural programs in the performing, literary and visual arts - Providing workshops, classes and excursions to build community for older adults - Strengthening bus transportation for seniors to enable them to participate in our programs - Expanding Magical Marin educational travel program, produced in partnership with the distinguished, worldwide Edlerhostel Association Donor BenefitsFriends$100-$499- Your gift will be acknowledged in the JCC's printed pieces - You'll receive JCC mailings with upcoming events and information Supporters$500-$999- All of the above, plus - You'll receive member discounts and priority enrollment privileges Century Circle Donors$1,000 and above- All of the above, plus - You'll be invited to unique Century Circle events Contributors - $1,000-$2,499 Underwriters - $2,500-$4,999 Sponsors - $5,000-$9,999 Patrons - $10,000-$24,999 Builders - $25,000-$49,000 Benefactors - $50,000-$99,000 Founders - $100,000 and above For more ways on how to help support the Osher Marin JCC's Annual Fund, please contact our Development Director at (415) 444-8080, or via e-mail, or download our Donation Form.
