JFCS is a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds. They are like an extended family for so many in our community: Seniors, children and families, individuals and couples, refugees and émigrés, and people with chronic diseases and/or disabilities.

The BJE is a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals, whose goal is to lead our community in creating vibrant and engaging Jewish learning for educators, families, teens, and adults. The BJE also offers financial aid in the following areas: College Scholarship Funds; Early Childhood Education Programs; Day Schools Fund; Family Specialty Camp Fund; Summer Day Camp Fund; Summer Overnight Camp Funds for West Bay Families; Summer Overnight Camp Funds for East Bay Families; and Teen Trips to Israel Scholarship Funds.

The PJ Library mails high quality books and music to participating families once a month and it’s absolutely free for families with children from six months to seven years of age in the Bay area.
